Kathleen Butler of Rt 1 Fayetteville, WV died Friday, November 14, 2003, at Plateau Medical Center, Oak Hill, WV. She was born December 8, 1923 at Eccles, WV, the daughter of the late Luther Martin Thorne and Annie Florence East Thorne. Mrs. Butler was retired from the Dietary Department of Plateau Medical Center, Oak Hill. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church at Fayetteville. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Faye Butler, three sisters, Virginia Mae Thomas,Beatrice Caldwell Fletcher, Margaret Loraine Rhodes, Louise Estelle Hays, one brother, Luther Martin Thorne, Jr. SURVIVORS, her husband of 62 years, Clarence Leo Butler of Rt. 1 Fayetteville, two daughters, Doris Ann Hayes of Rt. 1 Fayetteville and Betty Lou Marine and husband, Robert of Rt. 1, Fayetteville; one sister, Elva Lee Butler of Gatewood; three brothers, Paul William Thorne and James Eugene Thorne of Oak Hill, WV and Leon Ray Thorne of Ohio; three grandchildren, David Hayes, Jr. and wife, Katie of Oak Hill, Lisa Marie Becker and husband, Keith of Virginia Beach, Va., Keith Allen Marine and wife, Yolanda of California, two great grandchildren, Addison Scott Hayes of Oak Hill and Emily Dawn Becker of Virginia Beach, Va. SERVICES Tuesday, November 18, at 11 AM at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel, Oak Hill with Pastor Benjamin Gentile officiating. Burial at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill, WV.
