Karl R. Fitzgerald

Karl Ray Fitzgerald, 66, of Nimitz, WV died on Tuesday, October 31, 2006 at his home. Born March 14, 1940 at Oak Hill, WV he was the son of the late Rupert Karlton and Ruth Kelley Fitzgerald. He was the owner of the Fitzgerald Cash Register Company. Mr. Fitzgerald served in the US Army. One brother, John Fitzgerald preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Juanita Lewis Fitzgerald; two daughters, Margaret Laishley and husband, John of Huntington, WV and Rebekah Fitzgerald and husband, Daniel Haehnichen of Cincinatti, OH; one sister, Ruth Ann Fitzgerald of Nitro, WV and two grandchildren, Sean Laishley and Katherine Laishley of Huntington, WV. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Thursday, November 2, 2006, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Services will be on Friday, November 3, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Delmas Wolfe officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill WV.
