Naomi "June" Lively Richmond, 89, of Medina, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 29, 2022 at Hospice of Western Reserve in Medina, Ohio.
Born March 25, 1933 in Kingston, WV, June was the proud “coal miner's daughter” of the late Daniel Webster and Stella Esta (Coleman) Lively. June's love ran deep for her brothers and sisters and their spouses. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Erskine Luther Lively, Andrew Lee

Those left to cherish June’s memory include what she considered her four greatest accomplishments, daughters Vicki Billington, Marla Gaudet, Tina Richmond, and Beverlee Richmond, her devoted son-in-law, James Billington who considered June his second mom, adoring grandsons and granddaughters, Michael (Shannon) Forsha, Ricky (Christina), Daniel Gaudet (fiancé, Nichole Sarkisian), great-grandson, Hunter Forsha, and great-granddaughters, Annabella and Molly Gaudet, brothers, Roy Lee Lively, Roma Morris Lively, Darrell Eugene Lively, brother-in-law, James Sheets, and sisters-in-law, Judy Kay (Scarbro) Lively, Delores (Perry) Lively, and Patsy (Martin) Lively.
June retired after working 35 years in the textile industry of Phoenix Dye Works in Cleveland, Ohio, where she served as president of her Local ACTWU Union for many years. June had an innate sense of justice for the underdog and fought hard for the members of her union.
June was a life-long member of the Dothan Community Church. She loved her Savior with all her heart. June, along with her sister, Maurel, and brother, Roy Lee formed a gospel trio that performed in local churches. Whenever she visited her hometown, you could hear her voice being belted
out from her place in a pew. She had a deep love for birds, nature, chocolate ice cream, blueberry pancakes with bacon and LL Bean.
Known as Grandma June to so many, she was a beloved daughter, mother, sister, aunt, grandma, and friend. She brought beauty into the lives of so many. She made a difference in this world, and left it a better place. June loved life and lived it to its fullest. She will be greatly missed.
