June D. Parrish

June Deane Maddy Parrish, 80, of Bradley, WV died on Tuesday, September 06, 2005 at the home of her sister, Helen Huzoski, and niece, June McIntyre. Born September 11, 1924 at Lego, WV she was the daughter of the late Walter L. and Muriel Wilding Maddy. She was retired as Chief Medical Laboratory Technologist for Raleigh General Hospital, Beckley, WV. Mrs. Parrish was a member of the Winolia Chapter #59 OES, Mount Hope, WV, the Clinical Laboratory Management Association and the Raleigh General Nurses Alumni Association. Her husband, Arthur Parrish, a son, Michael Parrish, one brother, Lake Maddy, and one sister, Mercedes Engle, preceded her in death. Survivors include a daughter, Penny Brookover of Hurst, TX; one sister, Helen Huzoski of Bradley, WV; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and many other nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by a multitude of family and friends. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope on Thursday, September 8, 2005, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Services will be on Friday, September 9, 2005, at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope with Rev. Jerry Cook officiating. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity WV. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
