June Bibb

June Scarborough Bibb, 91, of Scarbro formerly of Shady Spring, died Saturday, November 8, 2003 at Hilltop Center, Hilltop, WV. She was born July 5, 1912 at Winding Gulf, WV a daughter of the late Calvin and Elsa Ramsey Scarborough. Mrs. Bibb was a homemaker and a member of the Open Door Church at Shady Spring. She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, L. J. Bibb in October, 2000; an infant daughter, Polly Jo Bibb; one sister, Celester Hill; and a brother, Gray Scarborough. Mrs. Bibb was the last surviving member of her immediate family. SURVIVORS include, her daughter, Jean Doris and husband, Alexander Doris of Scarbro; two granddaughters, Melanie Skeldon and husband, Mark of Scarbro and Leesa Hinte and husband, James of Beckley; five greatgrandchildren, Brett and Jill Bowyer, Andrew, Alexander, and Chase Hinte; a sister-in-law, Hazel Williams of Shady Spring Services will be Monday, November 10, 2003 at 2:00 P. M. at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Hope, WV with the Rev. George Smith officiating. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity, WV. Friends may call from 12:00 noon until 2:00 P. M. Monday at the funeral home.
