Judith Carmen Entsminger Workman Landers, 60, of Bentree, WV formerly of Dothan, WV died Thursday, December 4, 2008 at the home of her daughter, Tammy. Born July 1, 1948 at Dothan, WV she was the daughter of the late Henry “Junior” Entsminger and Dessie Richmond Franklin. Judith attended the West Virginia Schools for the Deaf and Blind at Romney. As a child she attended the Dothan Community Church and the Dothan Missionary Baptist Church with her Aunt Janet. She lived most of her life in Kanawha County. Mrs. Landers was a homemaker and a Protestant. She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Balsar and husband, Dale of Shrewsbury; two sons, Steve Workman and wife, Missy of Monroe, NC and Walter Workman and wife, Gloria of Cedar Grove; a sister, Marilyn “Trudy” Workman of Lizemores and seven grandchildren, Garrett and Rachel Workman, Zachery, Hanna, Kara and Kaleb Balser and Dustin Workman. Also surviving are her loving boyfriend, Dennis Matherly of Oak Hill; an aunt, Janet Sutphin of Scarbro; an uncle Clinton “Tally” Richmond of Scarbro and by several cousins. Graveside rites and committal service will be at 11:00 am Saturday, December 6, 2008 at the Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens in Glasgow with Pastor Gary Tucker officiating.
