Juanita "Granny" Fields Warden , 88, of Oak Hill, WV passed away on Monday, May 10, 2010 at Hidden Valley Nursing and Rehab Center in Oak Hill, WV. Born December 15, 1921 at Minden, WV she was the daughter of the late Carl Timberlake and Anna Kosnoski Fields. Mrs. Warden was a graduate of Oak Hill High School, a homemaker and a past member of the Oak Hill United Methodist Church. Her husband, Elliott Lee "Truck" Warden, sister, Mary Alice "Kick" Smythe; a grandson, Robert Lee Warden and a great granddaughter, Angel Richmond preceded her in death. Survivors include her sons, Dr. Eric (Lori Rae) Warden of Flemington and Abner (Cecelia) Warden of Covington, VA and a daughter, Nancy (Bill) Singleton of Scarbro. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, Bryan and Mark Warden and Robin Gordon all of Florida; Rebecca Golding of Mount Hope, Laura Spadaro of Oak Hill, Joyce Bragg of Fayetteville, Heather Richmond of Scarbro and TSGT Shannon Singleton of Huber Heights, OH; seven great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Juanita is also survived by her dearest childhood friend, Adelaide James Bryant of Fayetteville. Graveside rites and committal service will be on Friday, May 14, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at High Lawn Memorial Park in Oak Hill with Dr. Charles D. Miller officiating. Burial will follow. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill on Thursday, May 13, 2010 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Online condolences may be sent at
