Juanita Geneva Jeffers Davis, 84, of Oak Hill, WV died on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at her home. Born July 05, 1927 in Fola, WV in Clay county she was the daughter of the late William Lawrence and Lola Workman Jeffers of Oak Hill. Mrs. Davis was a very active member of the Jones Avenue First Church of God in Oak Hill through the WCG, at the Craigsville Campgrounds, and in teaching, and discipleship. She was a retired professional businesswoman. Juanita worked in the areas of restaurant management, Optometry, Wearever Management, motel owner and management including the Mountaineer Hotel in Mt. Hope. Preceding Mrs Davis in death were her husband, Frank Davis, Sr., 3 infant sisters, one brother Eldridge Lee Jeffers, two brothers-in-Law, Perry Glenn Rudd and Carlos Treadway, three step-children, Don Davis, Bobby Davis and Shirley Davis. Survivors include a brother, William Ancel Jeffers and wife, Jan of Broken Arrow, OK, sisters, Nada Belle Rudd of Oak Hill, Violet Treadway of Elkhart, IN, June Alexander and husband, Don of Oak Hill, Karen Jeffers and husband, Duane White of Sevierville, TN and Theresa Ann Jeffers of Arlington Texas, step daughter Nora Lee Warfield of Lewisburg, numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends who are thankful to have had their “Aunt Nita” in their lives as an example to their way of living and fulfilling their lives. In accordance with her wishes and in keeping with her giving and loving spirit, Mrs. Davis' body was donated to the WVU Human Gift Registry, Morgantown, WV. In lieu of flowers, donations to Craigsville Campground c/o Jones Ave. Church of God, PO Box 104, Oak Hill, WV 25901 and may be made to the attention of Charlotte Nichols. A Memorial service will be held by the family at Jones Avenue Church of God, in Oak Hill on Saturday, October 29th, 2011 at 11AM in tribute and celebration of her life.
