Joyce "Susie" Warwick Bailey , 70, of Mount Hope, WV departed this life on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born May 02, 1947 at Oswald, WV she was the daughter of the late John Everett "Ted" and Addine Lena Morris Warwick.
Susie was a business woman and owner of Ole Timers and Peggy Sues in Mount Hope.
She was preceded in death by her brother, John Paul Warwick; sisters, Nancy Warwick Walters and Nora "Tootie" Warwick.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Gary Bailey; daughter, Cassie Norkevitz and husband, Joey, of Pax; sons, Greg Mahaffey and wife, Sandy, of Hilltop, Benny Todaro and Tina, of Mount Hope and Sam Dooley of Mount Hope; beloved brother, Lonnie Warwick and wife, April of Mount Hope; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other family and friends who will cherish her forever in their hearts.
A special thanks goes to the staff of Hospice of Southern West Virginia and Bowers Hospice House for their care.
Services will be on Friday, November 24, 2017 at 4:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope with Rev. Jim Bowyer officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until service time on Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 42040, Oklahoma City OK 73123 or Hospice of Southern West Virginia, PO Box 1472, Beckley WV 25802
