Joyce Davis

Our loving mother, grandmother and sister, Joyce "Tommie" L. DeLung Davis, 76, of Dothan, WV died on Thursday, September 20, 2007 at her home. Born September 04, 1931 at Dothan, WV she was the daughter of the late John and Arizona Lafferty DeLung. Mrs. Davis was a member of the Dothan Community Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Brenton "Jr." Davis and two sisters, Delores Davis and Barbara Wyatt Graham. She is survived by the family she cared for and worried over which include two sons, Brenton Davis and wife, Evelyn of Mossy, WV and Johnny Davis and wife, Edith of Fayetteville, WV; one daughter, Brenda Rogers and husband, Thomas, Sr. of Dothan, WV; three brothers, John Thomas "Pockets" DeLung of Florence, SC and Keith DeLung and Frankie "Poke" DeLung both of Dothan, WV and three sisters, Betty Sue Buckland of Rainelle, WV and Peggy Jones and Blanche Massey both of Scarbro, WV. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Stacey Stowers and husband, Paul, Thomas Rogers, Jr. and wife, Karrie, Heather Ferguson and Joshua Davis and several nieces and nephews as well as her two dogs. Services will be on Saturday, September 22, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Pastor Darrell Fuller officiating. Burial will be at Peters Cemetery, Dothan WV. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Friday, September 21, 2007 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
