Joy Marie Woolwine Pruitt , 62, of Beckley, WV died on Sunday, November 09, 2014 at her home.
Born November 12, 1951 at Price Hill, WV she was the daughter of Flora Marie Thorne Woolwine Smith of Price Hill, WV and the late Eugene Edward Woolwine.
She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Her husband, Carlos Larry Pruitt preceded her in death on Aug 11, 2014.
In addition to her mother, Joy is survived by her children, Peggy, Lisa, Teresa, Crystal and Billy; stepson, Adam Pruitt of Texas; sisters, Margaret Woolwine of Sophia, Eugenia Fisher and husband Ray of Kilsyth, Susan Wood and husband, David of Harvey and Rebecca Roark and husband, Edward of Price Hill; brothers, Lowe Woolwine and wife, Christina of Price Hill, Carl Woolwine and wife, Angie of Price Hill and James Woolwine of Sophia; best friends Donna and Jeff; and by several nieces and nephews
Services will be on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Pastor Adam Trzicak officiating. Burial will be at Packs Branch. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Ruth, Jeff Workman, Ray Fisher, David E. Wood, David J. Wood, Dusty Stanley, Ed Roark and Travis Woolwine.
