Johnny R. Parker, 51, of Pax, WV died on Wednesday, March 07, 2007 at his home. Born January 04, 1956 at Oak Hill, WV he was the son of Josephine Copney Parker of Oak Hill, WV and the late Eugene Parker. He was a mechanic for Hildebrand Hauling of Oak Hill. Johnny was an avid fisherman. He was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters and his father-in-law, Carmen Carter. Survivors include his wife, Peggy Carter Parker; one son, Johnny "Pee-Wee" Baughan and wife, Karen of Wooster, OH; four daughters, Amanda Williams and husband, Mark of Oak Hill, WV, Carmen Wobo and husband, David of Sand Branch, WV, Crystal Murdock and husband, Anthony of Oak Hill, WV and Lori Ward and husband, Frank, Jr. of Corliss, WV and four sisters, Helen Jean Green of Georgia, Deloris Ann Smith and Annie Canterbury both of Oak Hill, WV and Betty Kuhl of Mount Hope, WV. He is also survived by eight grandchildren whom he loved dearly, his loving mother-in-law, Billie Carter of Mount Hope, WV; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Joe and Mary Carter, Bonnie and Eugene Marshall and Shelia and Donald Hurley and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Spirit and Truth Ministries, Oak Hill on Friday, March 9, 2007, from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM. Services will be on Saturday, March 10, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at the Spirit and Truth Ministries in Oak Hill with Pastor Sam Calloway and Rev. Julius Whittenburg officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill WV. His co-workers, Frankie, Don, Eddie, Sam, Gary, Robert, Doug, Will, Buckwheat, Bobbie, Gordie, Windy, J.T. and Billy will serve as pallbearers.
