John David Smith

John David Smith,18,of Oak Hill, WV died Tuesday December 30, 2003 at Charleston Area Medical Center following an accident. He was born February 24, 1985 in Raleigh County, a son of William Alan and Unna Tatum Smith of Oak Hill. He was preceded in death by a grandmother, Nancy Logan Tatum. He was an employee of Burger King of Oak Hill and a senior at Oak Hill High School. Besides his parents, he is survived by a brother, William Alan Smith, Jr. and his wife, Malina of Oak Hill, a nephew, William Alan Smith III, his fiance, Summer Thomas; grandmother, Gloria Smith of Oak Hill; great grandmother, Launa Logan of Cirtsville; and several aunts and uncles. Service will be Saturday, January 3, at 1:00 PM at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel in Oak Hill with Rev. Virgil Herron officiating. Burial will follow in High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill. Friends may call Saturday from 12 Noon until 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
