John "Cooter" Ratliff

Surrounded by his loving family, John "Cooter" Robert Ratliff Jr., 71, of Fayetteville, WV died on Monday, June 22, 2015 at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, WV.
Born July 07, 1943 at Fayetteville, WV he was the son of Victoria Adams Hayslett.
He was retired from Ford Motor Company.
Mr. Ratliff was owner/operator of Cooter's Cabins and Camping. He was a member of the American Blacksmith organization and was a US Air Force veteran.
Survivors include wife of over 50 years, Cheryl Ann Niesen Ratliff; two sons, Ron Ratliff and wife, Kim of Michigan and Rob Ratliff and wife, Liza of Michigan; daughter, Jerrlyn George and husband, Jon of Michigan; one brother, Myron David Hayslett of Michigan; sister, Reba Victoria Jones of Michigan; thirteen grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, June 25, 2015 at 8:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Rev. Morris Nutter officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Burial will be in Michigan.
