John Dorsey Painter

John Dorsey Painter, age 64, of Mt. Hope, WV passed away on Friday, March 18, 2011 in Beckley, WV. Born June 19, 1946 in Mt. Hope, WV he was the son of the late Clinton and Beulah Bennett Painter. John was a member of the Mt. Hope Assembly of God and attended day classes at FMRS in Fayetteville and Beckley. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a infant brother, Bobby Painter. Surviving are his sister, Betty Shepherd of Havre De Grace Md., his two brothers, Jack Painter and his wife Bettie of Beckley and Samuel Painter and his wife Jane of Glen Morgan, WV Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 22, 2010 at the Mt. Hope Assembly of God in Mt. Hope, WV with Pastor Jessie Parker officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens at Prosperity. Friends may call at the Mt. Hope Assembly of God on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 from 11:00 A.M. until the service hour of 1:00 P.M. Family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.
