John E. "Jack" Hill

John Earl "Jack" Hill , 64, of Oak Hill, WV died on Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill. Born December 03, 1944 at Cleveland, OH he was the son of the late Walter Frank Hill, Sr. and Thelma Marion Ledyard Moir. Jack retired as Superintendent for Bridge Haven Golf Course at Rt 1 Fayetteville and was employed by White Oak Country Club in Oak Hill. Brothers, Frederick Allen Hill, Walter Hill, Jr. and Earl Hill and sisters, Betty Volk and Alice Vedder preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Susan Hill; one son, Michael John Hill of Elyria, OH; five daughters, Jacqueline Hill of Elyria, Chris Hill and husband, Andre Randleman of Elyria, Tammie M. Blankenship and companion, Allen Merrill of Morganton, NC, Amy Blankenship Thompson of Hickory, NC and Kathy Thomas and fiancee', Harry Bowles of Fayetteville; a brother, Alfred P. Hill of Wellington, OH and three sisters, Linda Wyman of Elyria, Ruth Reaser of Elyria and Carol Cupp of West Unity, OH and by fifteen grandchildren. Funeral service will be on Friday, December 19, 2008 at 7:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Jerry Sears officiating. Friends may call two hours prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home. An additional visitation will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2008 at Resthaven Memory Gardens, 4700 Center Road, Avon, OH from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM with a service and graveside rites at 2:00 pm.
