John E. Holcomb

John Edward Holcomb, 23, of Athens, WV and a life-long Fayetteville, WV passed away, Saturday, May 31, 2008. Born November 28, 1984 at Charleston, WV, he was the beloved son of the late Morgan E. and Mildred Marie Perry Holcomb. John graduated from Fayetteville High School and Concord University, Athens. A half-brother, Dan Holcomb and a half-sister, Sue Hodges preceded him in death. Survivors include a half-brother, Jack Holcomb of Georgia, an aunt, Pamela Moses of Praireville, LA, an uncle, Thomas Simms of Fayetteville and cousins, Lisa Simms and Christine Shyler. Graveside rites and committal service will be on Thursday, June 5, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at High Lawn Memorial Park in Oak Hill. There will be no visitation.
