John Woodville Fedukovich, 83, of Fayetteville, WV, died Thursday, December 31, 2015 at his residence.
Born December 30, 1932 in Fayetteville he was the son of the late Sedor and Virgie Tincher Fedukovich.
Along with his wife, John was was the owner/operator of Garnet's New and Used Furniture in Oak Hill and retired from P.I Products. John enjoyed hunting, farming and crafts. He was known for making Hoot-owls and Snowmen.
A US Army veteran he served as a Sergeant during the Korean War.
John loved spending time with his granddaughter Jaden and loved his dogs, Muffin and Holly. Also, special thanks go to the Beckley VA Adult Day Care and Home Base Primary Care along with special thanks to Mac Davis of Beckley DAV.
His wife Garnet Jarrell Fedukovich, preceded him in death as did five sisters, Helen Bakosky, Almeda McGuire, Elizabeth Toboadela, Madline Buttrick and Virginia Fedukovich and two brothers, Moxie and Wetzel Fedukovich.
Left to cherish his memories are his loving family which includes, one daughter, Vicky Richmond and husband, Chris of Shady Spring, three brothers, Phillip Fedukovich and wife, Patty of Oak Hill, William Hardy Fedukovich and Paul “Lucky” Fedukovich and wife, Jo both of Fayetteville; one sister, Dorothy Anderson and husband, Ken of Fayetteville; two grandchildren, Jaden Richmond and Hailey McGuire; and a niece Connie McGuire, whom he raised like a daughter.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill, WV with Rev. Jim Keaton officiating. Burial will follow at Bibb Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 10 A.M. until service time at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the family or to Tyree Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
