John Lawrence Creed, 79, of Mount Hope, WV passed away Friday, January 19, 2018 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV
Born August 2, 1938 in Cranberry, WV he was the son of the late Robert E. and Delda Mae Harvey Creed.
John was a retired teletype operator for American Airlines and Time Magazine. He was a faithful member of the Mount Hope Christian Church for 35 years where he also played the piano every Sunday morning. John was a 1956 graduate of Kingston High School.
Those left to cherish his memory include one daughter, Cheryl Creed; two sons, Larry Creed and Kevin Creed; and two brothers, Bob Creed and George Creed.
Funeral Service will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at the Mount Hope Christian Church with Minister Buddy Goins officiating. Cremation will follow after the service.
Visitation for friends will be from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at the Mount Hope Christian Church.
