Ellen Virginia "Joanne" Crumb Fedele, 71, of Tidioute, PA formerly of Kilsyth, WV, died Friday, September 2, 2005 at Warren General Hospital, Warren, PA. Born April 2, 1934 in Carlisle, WV she was the eldest daughter of the late William Thomas "Bill" and Joanna Elliott Crumb. Joanne attended schools in Mount Hope, WV. She moved to Tidioute 44 years ago where she was a member of Saint Johns Roman Catholic Church, had been active in the former Tidioute Fortnightly Club and was an active member of the Tidioute Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary and Bingo. She is survived by her husband, Carmen J. Fedele; two sons, Thomas Fedele and wife, Peg, of Tidioute and Carmen J. Fedele, Jr. and wife, Judy, of Mount Hope, WV; one daughter, Tamera McLaughlin and husband, Michael, of Mercer, PA; one sister, Cora Sue Barret of Mount Hope, WV; one brother, Clarence Ray Crumb of Beckley, WV; an aunt, Nellie Crumb Dick of Scarbro, WV and an uncle, Donald Adair Crumb of Chicago, IL. Five grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive her. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Tuesday, September 6, 2005, at Saint Johns Roman Catholic Church, Tidioute, PA with Father Thomas Alaska officiating. Burial was in Swedish Union Cemetery, Tidioute. Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Joanne's life at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 1, 2005 at the United Methodist Church, Mount Hope, WV.
