Jo Ann Bragg

Jo Ann Bragg, 87, of Oak Hill formerly of Robson is now reunited with loved ones in Heaven and resting in the arms of God. 

Born October 29, 1937, at Julia, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Guy Moore and Edith Justice. 

She was a retired cook from Plateau Medical Center. A former co-owner and operator of T.J. Cafe in Robson. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her former husband, Robert Bragg, Sr.; brothers, Tommy (Doris), Charles (Shirley), Johnny, and Jim Baughan; sisters, Janet Justice, Shirley, Alice, Mary Belle, and Betty Baughan; daughter-in-law, Valarie Bragg; nephew, Alex Collins; nieces, Suzie McClung and Cynthia Hill; special friends, Freda Flint, Doc Shell, Merrell Settle, George Miller, and many more. 

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Timothy Bragg of Fayetteville, Robert Bragg, Jr. (Rosemary) of Chesapeake, Virginia, Carolyn Moore of Beckley; sister, Beverly Baughan of Wooster, Ohio; brother, Curtis Baughan (Penny); grandchildren, Vickie Moore of Florida, Jeff and Frank Cottrell of Charleston, and Tommy Cottrell of Seattle, Washington; great grandchildren, Aaron Johnson (Kristy)  of Scarbro and Cierra Hitchcock of Fort McCoy, Florida; great grandson, Maverick Johnson of Scarbro; special niece, Patricia Byars of Oak Hill; Shannon Settle of Summersville who was like a son; best friends, Dorothy Totten of Ohio and Bessie Goodson of Fayetteville; and many nieces and nephews. 

Services will be 2:00 P.M., Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel, Oak Hill with Pastor Ronnie Persinger officiating. Burial will follow in the Turley Cemetery, Oak Hill. 

Friends may call one hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home. 

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
