Jewell Marie Williams Lively, 80, of Long Branch, WV died on Wednesday, June 03, 2009 at Teays Valley Hospital in Hurricane, WV. Born April 30, 1929 at Long Branch, WV she was the daughter of the late Carlos A. "Gooch” and Grace Akers Williams. Mrs. Lively was a member of the Long Branch United Methodist Church and was a homemaker. Her husband, Harry Edmond Lively and a sister, Patty Williams preceded her in death. Survivors include one son, Mike Lively and wife, Vickie of Racine, OH; one daughter, Toni Kourey and husband, Rick of Charlotte, NC and two brothers, Carlos A. Williams, Jr. and wife, Nancy of Rainelle and Billy Williams of Pax. Graveside rites and committal services will be on Saturday, June 6, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at Pax Community Cemetery in Pax with Rev. Chalmer Abrams officiating. Burial will follow. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope on Friday, June 5, 2009 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
