Jessie Jay Grisard

Jessie Jay Lafferty Grisard , 95, of Charleston, WV formerly of Oak Ridge, TN died on Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at Meadowbrook Acres Nursing Center in Charleston, WV. Born February 02, 1913 at Herberton, WV she was the daughter of the late Jay Milton and Helen Humphrey Lafferty. She was a a retired secretary for the federal government. Two sisters, Thelma Patricia Holman and Ethel Jean Harvey and a brother, Woodrow Wilson Lafferty preceded her in death. Survivors include two nieces, Julia Miller and Beverly Tucker both of Charleston. Graveside rites and committal service will be on Saturday, August 16, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at High Lawn Memorial Park in Oak Hill with burial to follow.
