Jessie Phillip Griffith , 64, of Oak Hill, WV died on Thursday, July 17, 2003, at Hidden Valley Healthcare Center in Oak Hill, WV following a long illness. Born on September 9, 1928 at Lochgelly, WV he was the son of the late Coonie and Mamie Tucker Griffith. Mr. Griffith was a disabled coal miner, a member of the Bradley Freewill Baptist Church, Bradley, WV, and of the UMWA. He was preceded in death by his an infant daughter, Teresa Ann Griffith, and three brothers, Michael, Earl and Lonnie Griffith. Survivors include Son: Daniel Phillip Griffith of Bluefield Daughters: Terri Jane Settle of Summerlee Kimberly Hanby of Nashville, TN Brothers: Connie Griffith of Bradley Eugene Griffith of Bradley Sisters: Ernestine Bowyer of Brook Park, OH Edna Mae Rzucidlo of Florida Patsy Lenzer of Cleveland, OH 4 grandchildren 1 great grandchildren Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home on Sunday, July 20, 2003, from 1:00 to 2:00 pm Services will be on Sunday, July 20, 2003 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill. Rev. Daniel Legg will be officiating. Burial will be at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens., Oak Hill, WV
