Jesse Bane, Jr.

Jesse Bane, Jr., 83, of Oak Hill, WV died on Thursday, November 16, 2006 at his home. Born October 05, 1923 at Sun, WV he was the son of the late Jesse Bane, Sr. and Amelia Hinte Bane. Mr. Bane was retired from the Fayette County Courthouse. He was the retired owner of Jess & Theresa's Place in Oak Hill. In later years he was partner and co-owner with his son and daughter-in-law in Jesse's Pub and Coffee Club in Oak Hill. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose #1664, Oak Hill and the American Legion Post #149, Fayetteville. He was a World War II US Army veteran. His wife, Theresa Josephine Arcudia Bane; one brother, Chris Bane and five sisters, Nettie Dower, Josephine Adkins, Anna Young, Virginia Beck and Peggy Opie Houston preceded him in death. Survivors include son, Jesse Bane, III and his wife, Leigh of Oak Hill, a nephew, Steven Crisp who resided with him and several other nieces and nephews Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Sunday, November 19, 2006 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM with Prayer Service at 5:00 PM. Services will be on Monday, November 20, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at Sts Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Oak Hill with Father Paul Yuenger officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill WV with military graveside rites by VFW Post #3110, Oak Hill
