Jerry Donald "Don" Pearson

Jerry Donald “Don” Pearson , 76, of Oak Hill, WV died on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Beckley, WV following a long illness. Born August 23, 1936 at Peoria, AZ he was the son of the late Newton and Irene Richeson Pearson. Don was retired from the air cargo industry and most recently from Enterprise Car Rentals in Beckley. He attended St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Beckley and St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Oak Hill. He was a US Air Force veteran. Survivors include his former wife, Mary Pearson of Oak Hill; two sons, Tony Pearson and wife, Teresa of Oak Hill and David Pearson of North Carolina; three daughters, Teresa Rosiek and husband, Rob of Fayetteville, Kathy Alexander and husband, Mike of Fayetteville and Dianna Sanford and husband, Rick of Florida and two sisters, Sharon McCord of Richmond, VA and Delores Brewster and husband, Jerry of Livonia, Mich. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be on Friday, January 18, 2013 at 7:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Rev. Roy Gene Crist officiating. In keeping with his wishes, he will then be cremated.
