The Firefighter. The EMT. The Mason. The father, husband, mentor and life long friend.
Jerry Steven “Bubbles” Brown passed January 16th 2021 after many long fought battles with numerous medical issues.
Bubbles loved Reese's Cups, flea markets, traveling, fires on the porch with a gathering of friends and anything fried in bacon grease, not necessarily in that order.
Bubbles will be missed deeply by his wife of 20 years Gretchen; his daughter, Asa (Brown) and husband Chris Stump, son, Jerrad Brown and Jamey Callison, daughter, Brynne Walker and Ashton Hudson and son Tarryn Walker and Olivia Duncan. He left behind siblings, Lewis (Florence) Crouch, Horace “Bud” (Carol) Crouch, Joseph Harold (Mary) Crouch, Dennis Crouch, Sue (Pete) Smith, Bobby Crouch and Rick Brown, Many nieces, nephews and extended family members will remember him forever. Grandfather to 4, Asa's Kayden, Brayden and Colton Stump and Tarryn's Jaxson Walker, he was greatly looking forward to 2 new grandchildren this year from sons' Jerrad and Tarryn.
Bubbles is now at peace with his parents, Ludie Kathleen (Clark) and Willis Edwin Brown and siblings Ronnie Crouch and Peggy Crouch and many other gone but not forgotten friends and family.
We were given the gift of knowing him, his humor and stories, advice and profound stubbornness, his love and friendship. Now it is time to give it back.
Through this difficult time, remember and ingrain upon your soul the importance of friends and family, spending time, love and connections with those you cherish and hold dear. Life is too short for regrets.
Bubbles will watch over us always. Make him proud.
