Jenny Matulis Duda

Jenny Ference Matulis Duda , 91, of Oak Hill, WV died on Monday, February 14, 2011 at her home. Born August 02, 1919 at Scarbro, WV she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Mary Levondowski Ference. Mrs. Duda was a member of the Summerlee Presbyterian Church and the Oak Hill and Beckley Moose for over 60 years. She was a homemaker. Her first husband, John Matulis, second husband, James John Duda, special companion, Wilbur Rinehart and a daughter, Marie Carol Harshman preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by five sisters, Josephine Frayer, Laura Usalis Keaton, Helen Kausack, Sophie Faykus and Mary Cosky and two brothers, Charlie Ference and Joe Ference. Survivors include son, Mark Matulis and fiancee, Candy of Oak Hill, one sister, Stella Karlo of California, four grandchildren, Lindsey Matulis, Dusty Harshman, Leighann Matulis and Jason Blevins, two great grandchildren, Rebecca Harshman and Jaden Green and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Rev. Bill Drennen officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park. Oak Hill. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill on Friday, February 18, 2011, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
