Jency Jane Massie Tincher

June 19, 1928 — April 23, 2015

Jency Jane Massie Tincher, age 86, of Gatewood, WV, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 1915 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley.

Born June 19, 1928 at Gatewood, WV, she was the daughter of the late William W. and Minnie Mae Patterson Massie.

Jency was a homemaker and a member of the Pleasant View Church of the Brethren. She was preceded in death by her husband Ray Rexford Tincher, by a grandson, Jerry Tincher, a great grandson, Logan Tincher and by six brothers and three sisters.

Surviving are her two sons, Lee Ray Tincher and Gary Wayne Tincher both of Fayetteville, one brother, James Hubert Massie of Lower Salem, Ohio. Also surviving are 7 grand children 11 great grand children and one great grandchild.

A special thanks to her caregivers, Lynn McGuire, Patrica Coleman and Judy Bolen.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Monday, April 27, 2015 at the Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Rick Edwards officiating. Entombment will follow in High Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, Oak Hill.

Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to services on Monday, April 27. 2015.

Tommy Bolen, Brandon Tincher, Roger Tincher, Gary Ray Tincher, Mark Tincher and Brian Tincher will serve as pallbearers.
