Jeff Thomas Williams

Jeff Thomas Williams , 91, of Rock Creek, WV died on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at the home of his daughter, Gloria. Born January 06, 1923 at Clear Creek, WV he was the son of the late Everett and Ida Perry Williams. Mr. Williams was a retired coal miner. He was a US Army veteran. His wife, Virginia Arbutus Dunbar Williams preceded him in death as did an infant daughter, Beulah Faye Williams and a great grandson, Kevin Malone. The last of his immediate family, he was also preceded by three brothers, Azel Williams, Doris Williams and Sherman Williams and three sisters, Laura Mullins, Janie Williams and Clara Wriston. Survivors include daughter, Gloria Jean Williams Turner of Rock Creek; three sons, Larry Williams and wife, Joyce of Missouri, Richard Williams of Beckley and Allen Williams and wife, Delores of Midway; twelve grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren and twenty-five great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be on Sunday, March 16, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at the Workman's Creek United Methodist Church with Rev. Tommy Newman officiating. Burial will be at Workman's Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope on Saturday, March 15, 2014 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.
