Jean E. Stone West

Jean Elizabeth Stone West, 85 , of Prosperity, WV died on Thursday, May 13, 2010 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV. Born April 09, 1925 at Kilsyth, WV she was the daughter of the late Seibert Ray and Kathryn Bridgette Stone. She was a homemaker. Her husband, Ralph James West, her daughter, Carol Jean West Ferrell and a sister, Sarah Jane Voiers preceded her in death. Survivors include one son, David West and wife, Terri of Beckley and two brothers, Ted Stone of Mount Hope and Dennis Stone of Stanaford. Also surviving are two grandchildren, David Lee West of Prosperity and Lara Rae Byrd and husband, Kalin of Norfolk, VA. Services will be on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Mount Hope with Rev. George Wood officiating. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity.
