Jean Rae Mcdaniel Lewis

Jean Rae McDaniel Lewis , 74, of Oak Hill, WV died on Wednesday, March 09, 2011 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV. Born June 05, 1936 at London, WV she was the daughter of the late Margaret L. McDaniel. She was a retired cook for Oak Hill High School with sixteen years service. Mrs. Lewis was a member of the Oak Hill Church of the Nazarene. She was a Washington Redskins fan and loved cooking. Her husband, Jack Gay Lewis and a brother, Jack Toutloff preceded her in death. Survivors include her two sons, Gary Lewis and wife, Tonya of Mount Hope and Johnny Lewis of Oak Hill, two brothers, Charles Earl "Whitey" McDaniel and wife, Sue of Fayetteville and Donald L. McDaniel and wife, Norma Jean of Dobson, NC and a sister, Joann Stanley of Hawthorne, CA. She is also survived by a granddaughter, Seairia Meadows of Sophia and her good friend, Susie Richmond of Oak Hill. Funeral services will be on Sunday, March 13, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, in Oak Hill with Pastor Jerry Bush, Rev. Gary Williams and Pastor Paul Neil officiating. Entombment will be at High Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, Oak Hill. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill on Saturday, March 12, 2011 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Eric Davis, Scott Brown, John Alexander, III, Mike Fridley, John Alexander, Jr., Michael Alexander and Tom Mason will serve as pallbearers.
