Janice Armentrout

Janice A. Shelton Armentrout, 74, of Rt. 4 Fayetteville, WV died at home, Sunday, May 13, 2007 after a short illness. She was born May 10, 1933 at Winding Gulf, WV a daughter of the late Earl and Edna M. Ash Shelton. She worked as a clerk at Ben Franklin store in Fayetteville and was a member of the Gatewood Church of God. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Parker Allen Armentrout; one son, Richard Allen Armentrout; three brothers, William E. Shelton, Beauford L. Shelton, Harold K. Shelton; one sister, Jean McKalvia. Survivors include one son, Ronald Earl Armentrout at home; one daughter, Renee J. Bailey and husband, Roger Bailey, Jr. of Fayetteville; a daughter-in-law, Denise Armentrout of Beckley; three grandchildren, Kayleigh Armentrout of Beckley, Brittany R. Bailey and Jared P. Bailey of Fayetteville; two brothers, Earl C. Shelton of Salem, VA and Guy D. Shelton of Beckley; two sisters, Virginia Bryant of Louisiana and Betty Austin of Geneva, OH; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, May 15, 2007, at Gatewood Church of God with Rev. Morris Nutter officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at Huse Memorial Park, Fayetteville, WV.
