Janet Marie Rice Forren

Janet Marie Rice Forren, 52, of Minden, WV died Friday, April 25, 2014 at Plateau Medical Center, Oak Hill. Born March 23, 1962 at Cleveland, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Albertis Bert Rice, Jr. and Wilma Maxine Minor Rice-Evans. Janet was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Larry Rice, Ronald Rice and Scott Evans. Survivors include her husband, Samuel Harvey Forren; three sons, Robbie Austin Forren of Minden, Theodore Michael Forren and wife, Lindsey of Glenville, and Jonathan Harvey Forren and wife, Shirley of Oak Hill; one granddaughter, Johanna Forren; brothers and sisters, Richard Rice and wife, Lisa of Princeton, KY, Sandy Arrington and husband, Greg of Summersville, Beverly Toney and husband, Darrell of Knightdale, NC, Billy Rice and wife, Wanda of Wichita, KS, Steven Rice and wife, Michele of Ft. Worth, TX and Daniel Evans and wife, Patti of Mossy. Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Thursday, May 1, 2014 at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Pastor Shawn Evans officiating.
