James Stewart Wingrove

James Stewart Wingrove , 78, of Bradley, WV died on Wednesday, June 01, 2011 at Appalachian Regional Hospital in Beckley, WV. Born September 02, 1932 at Long Branch, WV he was the son of the late Emery and Mable Williams Wingrove. He was retired from General Motors. Mr. Wingrove was a member of the Rock Assembly Church, Kilsyth and was a US Army veteran. His wife, Imogene Elizabeth Crawford Wingrove preceded him in death on May 7, 2011. He was also preceded by a daughter, Ruth Swearinger and brothers, Clarence, Richard, Arnold and Marvin Wingrove. Survivors include one son, Jimmy David Wingrove of River Rouge, MI, daughter, Rhonda Medina of Bradley, sisters, Dora Jean Conner of Oak Hill and Nancy Elmore of Long Branch, brothers, Howard Wingrove of Sophia and Larry Wingrove of Richmond, VA, nine grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren. Funeral services will be on Monday, June 6, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Rock Assembly Church in Kilsyth with Pastor Les Allen officiating. Burial will be at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens in Oak Hill with military graveside rites by Oak Hill VFW Post #3110. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church.
