James W. Settle, Jr.

James Woodrow Settle, Jr., 54, of Minden, WV died on Sunday, January 07, 2007 at his home of an apparent heart attach. Born March 06, 1952 at Oak Hill, WV he was the son of the late James W. Settle, Sr. and Alice Mae Bowyer Settle. Mr. Settle was a former Police Officer for the city of Ansted, WV and a mechanic for Deligne Motors in Ansted. A sister, Karen Lee Settle preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife of 10 years, Debbie Settle; one son, James W. Settle, III of Ansted, WV; one daughter, Shalena S. Settle of Ansted, WV; step-daughter, Darcy Shuff of Minden, WV; two brothers, Marvin Settle and wife, Joyce of Ansted, WV and Gary Settle and wife, Susan of Atlantic, VA; three sisters, Joyce Neal and husband, Clyde of Victor, WV, Sandy Hundley and husband, Kenneth of Victor, WV and Jenny Settle of Ansted, WV and four grandchidlren. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Tuesday, January 9, 2006, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Services will be on Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill in Oak Hill with Father Roy G. Crist and Dr. E.R. Wallace officiating. Burial will be at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Oak Hill WV.
