James D. "Snookie" Daniels

James "Snookie" Douglas Daniels , 64, of Harper, WV died on Saturday, December 05, 2009 at his home. Born July 13, 1945 at Raleigh County, WV he was the son of the late Robert Dawson Daniels and Allie Delp Tincher Daniels. Mr. Daniels attended the Bradley Freewill Baptist Church. He was a retired coal miner. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Gene Daniels and Deb Daniels; sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Carlos Williams and sister-in-law, Ruby Daniels. . Survivors include son, James D. Daniels and wife, Priscilla of Midway; daughter, Kimberly Mitchell and husband, Jimmy of Bradley; dearest friends, Patty Lively of Shady Spring; three grandsons, Brandon, Zachery and Hunter Daniels; two granddaughters, Fayth and Grace Mitchell; sister, Lena Harrah and husband, Shorty of Beckley; two brothers, Charles Daniels and wife, Barbara of Surveyor and Clarence "Tub" Daniels and wife, Jan of Beckley; sister-in-law, Rita Daniels and his former wife, Audrey Mills Daniels A memorial service will be on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at Bradley Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne Peters and Rev. Jimmy MItchell officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
