James Franklin Sizemore, 71, of Fayetteville passed away on Friday, August 30, 2024, at his residence with his family by his side.
Born October 11, 1952, in Montgomery, WV he was the son of the late James and Zela Johnson Sizemore.
James worked in the coal mines as a mechanic and in his leisure, he enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, working on cars and just loved being outdoors. His greatest joy in life was being surrounded by his family whom he loved deeply especially his children and grandchildren.
Along with his parents he is also preceded in death by son, Wilbert Sizemore; brothers, Harold SIzemore and Chuck Sizemore; and sisters, Rosalie Johnston, Carolyn Whitlock, and Wilma Garretson.
Those left to cherish his wonderful memory include his loving children, Sierra Sizemore, Kaylee Miller, Traci Ferrell, Lisa Ferrell, Linda Sizemore, Austin Sizemore, Frankie Sizemore, Jake Johnson, Josh Johnson, Chad Sizemore, and Mikey Sizemore; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, sister, Letha Proctor; and brothers, Dallas Sizemore, Homer "Bubbie" Sizemore, and Poncho Sizemore.
Funeral service will be 1:00 PM on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel in Oak Hill. Burial will follow at Montgomery Memorial Park in London, WV.
Visitation for friends will be one hour prior to service at the funeral home in Oak Hill on Thursday, September 5, 2024.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations of sympathy be made to Tyree Funeral Home to help defray from funeral expenses
