James O. Rexrode, Sr.

James Odell Rexrode Sr., 70, of Mount Hope, WV died on Tuesday, March 01, 2005 at his home of natural causes. Born April 22, 1934 at Cass, WV he was the son of the late Lonzo and Ethel Chestnut Rexrode. He retired in 1993 as a packer for Avery International. Mr. Rexrode was a member of the Faternal Order of Eagles and was a US Air Force veteran. He was preceded in death by a sister, Freda Myers. Survivors include his wife, Bethel E. Sanger Rexrode; son, James O. Rexrode, Jr. of Concord, OH; daughter, Michelle Whitlow and husband, Robert, of Painesville, OH; two sisters, Lucille Stewart of Dunbar and Gaynelle "Sis" Bietrich of Boca Raton, FL; and three grandchildren, Nick Rexrode of Mount Hope, James Rexrode, III and Hannah Rexrode both of Concord, OH. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope on Saturday, March 5, 2005, from 12:00 to 1:00 pm. Services will be on Saturday, March 5, 2005 at 1:00 pm at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope with Pastor David McCoy officiating. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity WV.
