James E. Murphy, Sr.

James Edward Murphy Sr., 47, of Oak Hill, WV died on Saturday, August 26, 2006 at CAMC - Memorial Division in Charleston, WV. Born August 22, 1959 at Oak Hill, WV he was the son of Sherry A. Rice Murphy of Oak Hill, WV and the late James L. Murphy. He was a truck driver for Pike Electric. Survivors include his wife, Jeanetta Puckett Murphy of Oak Hill, WV; one son, James E. Murphy, Jr. of Oak Hill, WV; one brother, Scott Murphy of Oak Hill, WV; sister, Kelly Stafford and her husband, Eugene of Fayetteville, WV and an aunt, Nancy Hunt of Fayetteville, NC. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Friday, September 1, 2006, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Graveside rites and committal service will be on Friday, September 1, 2006 at 2:30 P.M. at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Prosperity with Pastor Jerry Bush officiating. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity WV.
