Surrounded by his family, James Theodore Moore Jr., 70, of Fayetteville, WV died on Wednesday, January 08, 2014 at UVA Medical Center in Charlottesville, VA. Born October 11, 1943 at Caperton, WV he was the son of the late James Theodore Moore, Sr. and Hazel Cody Moore. He was a retired end loader operator & truck driver for Cannelton Coal Company and was a farmer. Mr. Moore was a member of the Calvin Advent Christian Church. A son, James Steven Moore, Sr. preceded him in death. James leaves behind a large, loving family which includes his wife, Mary Alice Scott Moore; three daughters, Donna Stevens and husband, Brian of Fayetteville, Mary Jane Dennler and husband, Kenny of Fayetteville and Betty Murphy and husband, Chris of Fayetteville; five brothers, Charlie Moore, Russell Moore, Tommy Moore, Gary Moore and David Moore and six sisters, Rose Holtsclaw, Carol Brown, Susie Smith, Sharon Moore, Debbie Sears and Penny Begley. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Robby Stevens, Bethanie Murphy, Heather Kelly, Lora Dennler, Nicole Dennler and Steven Moore; three great grandchildren, Conor, Ryder and Allie; many special nieces, nephews, cousins and friends and his special pet "Sassie." Funeral services will be on Monday, January 13, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Pastor Terry Johnson officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at 2:00 P.M. on Monday at the New Hope Church Cemetery at Marie, WV.
