James Gordon Lively Sr.

James Gordon Lively, Sr., of Oak Hill, WV, passed away peacefully on August 7th, 2021. Born on March 15th, 1932, in Nuttall, WV, he was the son of the late Alvah French and Florence Pauline Eads Lively.
James was a US Air Force veteran serving for 21 years as a Radio Mechanic and later taught Electronics. After retiring from the Air Force he worked for the USPS as a mail handler. James enjoyed traveling with his wife and watching TV.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by sons, James Gordon Lively, Jr. and Phillip Glen Lively.
He is survived by loving wife of 67 years, Carol Jean Lively; daughters, Pamela Carol Clark (Eugene) and Rhonda Susan Skinner (David Lee); brother, Cecil Glen Lively; as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great- grandchildren.
A memorial service will be on Friday, August 13, 2021 at 12:00 pm at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Friday.
