James Phillip Lafferty

James Phillip Lafferty, age 62, of Stanaford, WV, died on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at Appalachian Regional Hospital in Beckley, WV. Born May 9, 1950 at Martin, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Joseph E. and Opal Isaac Lafferty. James was a master electrician having worked for Statewide Electric. Survivors include his wife, Susan Donell Lafferty of Stanaford, one son, Aaron Lafferty of Charleston, WV, one daughter, Amber Lynn Ayers and husband Richard of Fredericksburg, MD, three step daughters, Sheree Hunt of Mt. Hope, Renise McCraw of Elkton, MD and Nicole Murray of Middletown, Delaware. Also surviving is his sister, Anna Lafferty of Pikeville, KY and one grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM. Monday, October 29, 2012 at the Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope with the Rev. Jerry Tyree officiating. Burial will follow in Pax Community Cemetery at Pax, WV.
