James Allen Kincaid

James Allen Kincaid Sr., 86, of Page, WV died on Monday, August 16, 2004 at CAMC - Memorial Division in Charleston, WV following a short illness. Born November 01, 1917 at Page, WV he was the son of the late James Daniel and Lelia R. Burnside Kincaid. He was a retired electrician for Hawley Coal Company, Beards Fork. Mr. Kincaid was a life long member of the United Methodist Church, Kincaid and Oak Hill Lodge #120 A.F. & A.M. James Allen was a devoted and loving father and grandfather who lived his life as a Christian in word and deed. Every life he touched was blessed for knowing him. Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Frances W. Johnson Kincaid; son, James Allen "Jay" Kincaid, Jr. and wife, Mary Jane, of Page; daughters, Valeda O'Dell and husband, John, of Princeton, Beverly LeNoir and husband, Steve, Sumpter, SC and Kathy Selbe and husband, Ben, of Ripley; eight grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 18, 2004, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm and on Thursday, August 19, 2004 at United Methodist Church, Kincaid from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon. Funeral service will be Thursday, August 19, 2004, at 12:00 pm at United Methodist Church, Kincaid with Rev. Arolette Stover officiating. Burial will follow at Kincaid Cemetery, Kincaid, WV with Masonic graveside rites by Oak Hill Lodge No. 120 A.F. and A.M. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to United Methodist Church, Kincaid, WV 25119.
