James H. "Jimmy" Shea

James "Jimmy" Howard Shea, 72, of Pax, WV left our lives on Monday, October 15, 2007 at Appalachian Regional Hospital in Beckley, WV. Born October 31, 1934 at Artie, WV he was the son of the late Henry and Ernia Marie Perry Shea. Jimmy was full of life, loved to joke and loved his family and friends. He was a retired coal miner and rubber factory worker. Three brothers, George Shea, Homer Shea and Harry Shea preceded him in death. Those left to cherish his memory are his life-long companion of 24 years, Pat Williams; two brothers, Arvil Shea and wife, Audrey of Kingford, NY and Dewey Shea of Beckley, WV and four sisters, Gladys Williams and husband, Ralph of Wintrop Harbor, IL, Carol Baver of Horon, OH, Myrtle Tanzillo of Louisville, KY and Bulah Toney of Clear Creek, WV. Although Jimmy had no biological children, he helped raise 11 children, Timmy Shea, Hearold Ray Shea, Henry Shea, Jeff Shea, Ruth Shea, Larry Shea, Lena Ruff, Billy Williams, Christina Garrison, Cecil Williams and Crystal Allen as well as three special grandsons, Jay, Christopher and Tyler Williams. Services will be on Thursday, October 18, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope with Rev. Dwayne Williams officiating. Burial will be at Pax Community Cemetery, Pax WV. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope on Thursday, October 18, 2007 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Pallbearers will be Robert Allen, Steven Dinkler, Jason Dinkler, Aaron Williams, Matt Bailey and George Garrison.
