James D. "Jimmy" Jones

James "Jimmy" D. Jones, 59, of Dempsey, WV died on Wednesday, June 06, 2007 at his home. Born September 08, 1947 at Montgomery, WV he was the son of the late Hayward L. and Edith Fridley Jones. Mr. Jones was a member of the Loop Creek Missionary Baptist Church, Dempsey, WV. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Vance Jones and Ricky Jones. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy B. Skaggs Jones; one son, James Jones of Dempsey, WV; two daughters, Rebecca S. Landis and Dawn M. Jones both of Dempsey, WV; two brothers, John D. Jones and Hayward E. Jones of North Carolina; two sisters, Betty Blosser of Ohio and Sandy Davis of Minden, WV and by four grandchildren, Wesley H. Jones, Troy J. Foster, Frank C. Hutchens and Hunter M. James Services will be on June 11, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at Loop Creek Missionary Baptist Church, Dempsey,WV with Rev. Ronnie Persinger officiating. Burial will be at Robertson Cemetery, Dempsey WV. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Sunday, June 9, 2007 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
