James "Jamie" Fox

James Ray "Jamie" Fox, 43, of Oak Hill, WV died on Monday, December 15, 2003 at UVA Medical Center in Charlottesville, VA following a long illness. Born September 09, 1960 at Fayetteville, NC he was the son of James A. and Brenda Tufts Fox of Oak Hill, WV. He was a sales clerk for NAPA in Oak Hill and Ansted from 1978 to 1986. Mr. Fox was a member of the First Brethren Church, Oak Hill, WV. He was a 1978 graduate of Oak Hill High School. Jamie was a former Midget League Football assistant coach, worked with the Fayette County Youth Soccer and was a member of the Oak Hill High School Football Boosters. Survivors include Son: Benjamin James Fox of Oak Hill Daughters: Mary Elizabeth Bowman and husband, Scotty, of Oak Hill Kimberly Danielle Fox of Oak Hill Kelly Elaine Helton and husband, Ronald, of Oak Hill Hannah Lorraine Fox of Oak Hill Stepson: Gabriel Greenway of Oak Hill Sister: Pamela R. Vance and husband, Chuck, of Oak Hill Grandchildren: Brianna Elise and Isaiah Scott Bowman and by nieces, nephews and cousins Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Wednesday, December 17, 2003. from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Services will be on Thursday, December 18, 2003, at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. William Skeldon officiating. Entombment will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill WV. Pallbearers will be Benjamin Fox, Scotty Bowman, Ronald Helton, Chuck Vance, Mike Fox, Mike Murphy and Jerry Walden.
