James "Bill" Holliday , Jr. 75, of Bradley, WV died on Monday, July 13, 2015 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV.
Born October 08, 1939 at Scarbro, WV he was the son of the late James and Garnett Burnette Holliday, Sr.
He was a retired automobile mechanic.
Bill loved anything to do with the outdoors - camping, fishing, hunting, and building bird houses. He was a member of the Maple Fork Baptist Church, Maple Fork, WV
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Irene Graham, Patricia Ballard and Carol Martin and brother, Tommy Holliday.
Survivors include wife, Susan Cora Johnson Holliday; one son, James "Bill" Holliday, III of Charlotte, NC; four daughters, Jamie Holliday of Bradley, Denise Tonelli of Norfolk, VA, Pam Barker of Shady Spring and Karen Pergolizzi of Jupiter, FL; step daughter, Candy Whitt of Dublin, VA; brothers, Robert Holliday of Forest Hill, Paul Holliday of Virginia, Richard Holliday of Beckley, and Joe Holliday of Virginia; sisters, Betty James of North Carolina and Teresa Windsor of Bradley; several grandchildren and many other family and friends.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Maple Fork Baptist Church with Pastor Jim Bowyer officiating. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity.
Visitation will be held at Maple Fork Baptist Church on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
