James Reginald Hayslett , 88, of Oak Hill, WV passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV.
Born April 21, 1932 in Mount Lookout, WV he was the son of the late Wesley and Macel Osborne Hayslett.
James was the owner of Hayslett Trucking Company for many years, and was a United States Army Veteran, and attended the with the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Mount Lookout, WV along with Oak Hill Methodist Church.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife Alice Yvone Moore Hayslett; brother, Charles Hayslett; and sister, Thelma Shaffer.
Those left to cherish his memory include nephew, Ricky Shaffer; nieces, Suellen Hypes and Pamela Russell; and sister-in-law, Virginia Hayslett.
Graveside services with burial to follow will be held on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at High Lawn Memorial Park in Oak Hill with Pastor Jason Hypes officiating.
Those planning to attend should use proper COVID 19 precautions by wearing masks and maintaining social distancing of 6 feet.
