James Haynes

James Haynes,78, of Oak Hill, WV died Friday, August 10, 2007 at the Veterans Administration Hospital, Beckley, WV after a short illness. Born September 7, 1928 at Oak Hill, WV he was the son of the late Elmer and Virgie Treadway Haynes. He was a disabled veteran, was a veteran of the U.S. Army in the Korean Conflict. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six sisters, Ruth Nagy, Katherine Bryant, June Martin, Margaret Criss, Dorothy Neely and Edith Haynes; one brother, Paul Haynes. Survivors include two sons, John Haynes of Fayetteville, WV and Ralph Bryant of Weston, WV; one brother, Carlos Haynes of Oak Hill. Service will be 2:00 PM Tuesday at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel, Oak Hill with Rev. Vernon Chittum officiating. Burial will follow at Treadway Cemetery, Oak Hill. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
